Celebration EcoAssistant hosted a tasty vegetarian feast in 2014 prepared by local chef Dominique Blanchard. It was our way of saying thank you to our clients and to celebrate the work we do together. We hope to continue identifying ways to acknowledge our shared progress.

EcoAssistant is available for site assessments, general consulting, and system design particularly in the areas of rainwater harvesting and greywater reuse.
Workshops
EcoAssistant leads householders as well as groups of students, teachers, parents, administrators, and staff through planning, educational sessions, and hands-on system installation workshops. We provide the educational resources, tools, and experience necessary to create a successful and academically enriching rainwater harvesting program at your home or school site.
EcoAssistant operates as an independent contractor to deliver these services. Householders and schools are ultimately responsible for workshops and system installation. Assessment At EcoAssistant, we believe an ongoing relationship is the best way to maintain focus and motivation in accomplishing your goals. Your personal EcoAssistant meets with you to get a sense of your accomplishments, constraints, and goals and to take a tour of your home. You are ready with copies or a summary of your utility usage for the previous year to document your family's use of these resources throughout the various seasons.
Planning If your household is interested, we then retreat to our EcoAssistant cave to complete a report full of recommendations focusing on your goals, some steps we see as most beneficial, and perhaps some additional ideas to extend your thinking. We return to present the report, answer your questions, and discuss options, all at a set price. If more research or consultation is required, your EcoAssistant is available on an hourly basis (with a cap you set). Action Action is at the heart of change. You and your EcoAssistant decide together which actions come first and which are most important. You decide which actions to take on your own and which to take in concert with your EcoAssistant. EcoAssistant connects you with local service resources as appropriate, and refers you to third party service providers if your needs are outside our scope of expertise. Reassessment Your EcoAssistant checks in with you on a regular basis, and once a year helps you assess progress and consider next steps. The cycle begins again. |
